EMILY SLEPSKY

“I am a Georgia-based writer, raised in Roswell and grounded in storytelling that spans both journalism and personal narrative. My work thus far has ranged from covering city council meetings and community life to writing feature stories on architecture, food, fashion, and culture. My favorite creative endeavor to date is leading the production of two fashion publications, where I got to combine my editorial drive and love for fashion, and maybe a dash of Anna Wintour’s poise (minus the sunglasses indoors…most days).

I approach each piece of writing with the hope that it resonates emotionally, in a tone that feels less like reading and more like catching up with a friend. To me, a piece of writing feels alive when it connects, when it gives voice to the overlooked, celebrates the everyday, or simply offers a break from the noise of what’s going wrong.”
