“I was born in Queens, New York. I attended the High School of Art and Design, Hunter College and the School of Visual Arts, where I studied fine art, color theory and graphic design. I then worked for many years as a graphic artist for various advertising agencies in New York City. The structured, tight regimen of commercial art during the day led me to develop a bright, spontaneous and impressionistic style in my painting. I have returned many times to Venice, Italy, my parents’ birthplace, for inspiration in my art. My artwork has been displayed worldwide, including in Norway, Italy, Japan and India, and has won numerous awards in Florida and New York.
My mission is to educate and empower art students and other artists. Carry a sketchbook as you would carry your phone. Never let a day go by without drawing or painting a line.”
